Uganda Cranes Outsmart Somalia in CHAN 2020 Qualifiers

In a game played today at Al Haji Hussein Guled Stadium in Djibouti, the cranes have manifested a wonderful display by beating hosts 3:1.

Uganda cranes got their lead through KCCA’s Patrick Kaddu’s Penalty (45+3′), KCCA’s left-footed star Mustafa Kiiza got the second and Vipers’ midfield maestro Tadeo lwanga put the icing on the cake in the 83rd minute to hand the visitors a deservedly away win.

 

Farhan Mohamed Ahmed got the consolation for Somalia. The return leg will be played in Uganda the next Saturday 3rd August 2019 at the Star times stadium lugogo.

The aggregate winner over the two legs will face either Burundi or Rwanda at next qualification round.
